Belgian connection: Enzo IDE

Enzo, last weekend in Montalegre was a success for the Belgians: Kobe Euro RX3 champion and you winning a round of Euro RX. A great achievement!

 Yes, it is a great feeling to win a race in the European Championship. The team and I have put a lot of time and energy into it throughout the year. A victory brings a lot of satisfaction and delight.

Next manche, Spa-Francorchamps, with only three points behind second place, you can aim for silver!

 Myself and the team will do all they can to win silver.  And don't forget, the pilot who is 2nd now is a pilot with a lot of experience. He will also do all he can to be 2nd in the championship. We beat him in Portugal so we will try to do the same in my home race.

What is your opinion of Spa-Francorchamps, the circuit; how you do see the race?

 It is very nice that a rally cross circuit has been added in Belgium. Spa-Francorchamps is a legendary circuit, which makes it even more fun to have a rally cross race there.

I have already done 2 the RX circuit twice and I must say it is a great track. The speed through Eau rouge to the top of the raidillion is fantastic.

There are three Belgian drivers, including you, at the top in Rallycross in 3 different series. 

 First of all, I think it is great that there are 3 Belgians doing the RX. Not many people in the RX world expected to see 3 Belgians there and those three Belgians doing well. I have a lot of respect for Kobe and Victor. They both got very nice results. I have seen several of their races. All I can say is: hats off.
